BBQ FOR THE HOMELESS AND OTHERS IN NEED, CENTENARY LAKES PARK, CABOOLTURE,  Sunday 9th of September 2018 10AM-1PM

After four years we are excited to come back to Centenary Lakes Park, Caboolture, on Sunday 9 September to bring a BBQ for the Homeless and Others in Need to the area. As always, we will bring a free BBQ lunch for our volunteers and guests alike, as well as free non-perishable foods, clothes, shoes, toiletries, children’s toys and other basics that so many take for granted but that are often unaffordable for those experiencing hardship. We are very grateful to be able to offer free haircuts at this event, and to have Yellow Cabs provide a free shuttle service to take our guests to the venue from Caboolture train station and back.

We promote social inclusion, equality and hope for the future, and are looking to bring services such as job search assistance, basic medical check-ups and legal advice. Our BBQs always develop as we go, with services coming on board and numbers of volunteers and donations growing. Every time it is heart-warming to see the community coming together to help those in need. We are looking forward to seeing you in Caboolture on 9 September!
